To the Editor:
I had to laugh when I read the Daily story regarding the basketball lottery. When I was an undergrad no one else showed up to the game but the students, the students sat directly behind the visitors bench, with no reserved seating, your season ticket included ALL the games and your ticket cost $27. It appears that the athletic department is now doing the students a favor by letting them out of the balcony occasionally. Remind me again, but isn’t it the students that fund a large portion of the athletic department in the first place, that paid for the entire new rec center? I don’t know if the student body can afford any more favors like this lottery.
