The following information was provided by the Ames Police Department. All suspects are innocent unless proven guilty:

*Shawn J. Walker, 24, 2212 Melrose Ave., was arrested on a charge of driving under suspension, Sunday, Oct. 8. He was later released on a citation. Walker was arrested on a charge of driving under suspension and operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, Monday. He was released to the Story County Sheriff’s Office.

*Scott E. Opheim, 18, 6354 Larch Hall, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication, Monday, Oct. 9. He was later released and fined $60.

*Fred A. Bates, 32, Jefferson, was arrested on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, Monday, Oct. 9. He was later released to Story County Jail.

*John S. Firnhaber, 30, RR4, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication, Monday, Oct. 9. He was later released on a citation.

*Richard L. Evans, 45, Nevada, was arrested on a charge of driving under suspension, possession of a controlled substance, and parking warrants, Monday, Oct. 9. He was later released on a $2,000 bond.

*Dawnelle M. Smith, 18, Lincoln, Neb., was arrested on a charge of theft at Younkers, 2801 Grand Ave., Wednesday. She was later released on a $165 bond.

*Adam C. Smith, 19, Iowa Falls, was arrested on a charge of interference with signs, Thursday. He was later released on a $1,200 bond.

*John C. Swain, 23, 2112 Lincoln Way, was cited for disturbing the peace Thursday.

*Ricky Brown, 18, Des Moines, was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, Thursday. He was later released on a $650 bond.

*Scott Northway, 32, Des Moines, was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, Thursday. He was later released on a $650 bond.

*William Beediam, 31, Omaha Neb., was arrested on a charge of public intoxication, Thursday. He was later released on a $165 bond.

*Gary Benway, 39, Aura Lake, was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, Thursday. He was later released on a $650 bond.

*Sharla W. Sheridan, 29, Des Moines, was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance and prohibited acts, Thursday. She was later released on a $1,300 bond.

*Heidi M. Schmitt, 36, Dubuque, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication, Thursday. She was later released on a $165 bond.

*Donald S. Copeland, 41, Fairbanks, Ark., was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, Thursday. He was later released on a $650 bond.

*Alyshya Stece, 20, Perry, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication, Thursday. She was later released on a $165 bond.

*Patrick M. Comar, 36, Des Moines, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication, Thursday. He pleaded guilty and was fined $50.

*John G. Clinefelter, 31, RR4, was arrested on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, Friday. He was later released on a citation.
