Juice bars “curious”

Eric Dahle

To the Editor:

Does anyone else find it curious that a few days ago there was an article in either the Daily or the Register that gave the impression that the juice bar is not any big problem(other than being an eyesore), and now we have the article in the Daily indicating that it is a big problem?

Does anyone else find it curious that certain rumors about the juice bar have been around for years, and yet this is the first for prostitution?

Does anyone else find it curious that prostitution is not an uncommon problem at the establishment; and yet he says that this is the first arrest?

Does anyone else suspect that other acts of the nature that Mr. Pieper is alleged to have committed have been previously witnessed by police officers, and that the officers present charged the person involved with some other charge(such as public intoxication)?

Would anyone else like to know how many arrests are made or citations issued at this establishment as compared to other gathering places?

In light of recent rumors about another juice bar opening in Campustown, I know that I am curious about these things.

I hope Mr. Pieper’s lawyer is even more curious than I.
