Get out your fingerprint powder, make sure your magnifying glass is held tightly in your secretive little hands and get your suspenseful bones down to a fishy little play at the Ingersoll Dinner Theatre called Catch Me If You Can.

Catch Me If You Can, a provocative murder-mystery, is showing Aug. 31-Sept. 17, with matinees falling on Sept. 6, 13 and 17.

The mystery’s plot centers around a young newlywed couple who take their honeymoon in a secluded cabin town. When the wife disappears, the town police inspector is called in to solve the case. However, this proves to be no easy nut to crack, especially when a different young woman shows up claiming to be the man’s wife with the backing of a priest.

“The play is quite good,” said Mike Willis, director of Catch Me If You Can, “I think the audience will have a fun time trying to figure out;t what is going on in this story.

“Catch Me has a good script,” Willis added. “I think the seriousness and tense atmosphere of the script is reflected splendidly by our performers.”

Before Catch Me if You Can hit the stage, it was on the silver screen starring Humphrey Bogart. “It is very suspenseful,” said Scott Kees, director of marketing. “It’s Hitchcockian.”
