Welcome back to another fun-filled year with the Daily Currents staff. It’s a whole new ballgame with new writers and some familiar faces.

For entertainment purposes, the Currents section will focus on all aspects of arts and entertainment, since this is the Daily’s lifestyle section.

The columnists will look the same with one minor change. Returning to educate you with his musical knowledge is The Dreaded, Gregory Parks, featured in Monday’s paper. On Wednesday, that crazy character affectionately known as the Tattooed Guru will entice everyone to talk about his latest findings, and on Friday Sarah Wolf moves over to the new and improved movie review. Tuesdays and Thursdays are open with some surprise guest stars, so stay tuned.

Another feature that is new to the Daily is “Doog and Blair,” a

timely cartoon by Mark Ilich.

I hope everybody enjoys the Currents page, and if you have any ideas or complaints, don’t hesitate to write the Daily.
