Got the acting bug in ya?
The Des Moines Playhouse announces that auditions for The Sisters Rosensweig will be held at 2 p.m. Sept. 17. The writing of Pulitzer Prize winner Wendy Wasserstein returns in this insightful, funny story of three different sisters on a quest for love and fulfillment.
The play calls for four females, ages 17-50, and four males, also ages 17-50.
Performance dates are Oct. 27 through Nov. 12. All roles are available; no roles are pre-cast.
Speaker focuses on family challenges
Jim Brawner, of “Today’s Family Ministries,” a well-known author and speaker will be the Keynote Speaker at the upcoming Ames Christian School Fundraising Banquet.
Brawner will be speaking about”Taming the Family Zoo;” addressing the needs and challenges of families today in a humorous and educational way.
