The following incidents were reported by the Ames Police Department. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty:

*Gayle Kackley, 78, of Stanhope, was cited and released on a charge of shoplifting at Cub Foods, 3121 Grand Ave., Monday.

*Richard L. Claussen, 41, of no current address, was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and driving under suspension at the 200 block of Maple Avenue, Monday. He was later taken to the Story County Jail.

*Jeffrey J. Glaspey, 30, 123 Oriole St., was arrested on charges of public intoxication, trespassing and a Polk County warrant for two counts of possession of controlled stubstance at the 4100 block of Westbrook Avenue, Monday. He was later taken to the Story County Jail.

*Cory C. Flyer, 31, of Madrid, was arrested on a charge of violating pretrial arrangements in the 500 block of Main Street, Monday. He was later taken to the Boone County Jail.

*Angelo J. Provenza, Jr., 21, 530 Welch Ave., Apt. 11, was arrested on a charge of driving under suspension at the intersection of Lincoln Way and Dakota Avenue, Wednesday. He was cited and later released.
