An additional 180 positive cases of COVID-19 reported in Iowa, six deaths
The Office of the President releases new information regarding masks, vaccinations and how the fall 2021 semester will look.

An additional 180 cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Iowa by the Iowa Department of Public Health, making for a total of 45,982 positive cases.
Among those testing positive, a total of 33,925 have recovered.
Six deaths from COVID-19 have been reported for a statewide total of 885.
In Story County, no new positive cases of COVID-19 have been reported, keeping the total at 1,109 positive cases. One death from COVID-19 was reported in Story County bringing the county’s death toll to 11.
