Good Cop/Bad Cop: TCU
November 24, 2021
Bad Cop: Andrew Harrington
A lot of fans have high hopes for Iowa State this week, with the seniors set to play in their final game in Jack Trice Stadium. While there will be a lot on the line for the Cyclones, it will be difficult to not let the emotions get the best of them.
In what has been a disappointing season from a record standpoint for both of these teams, winning the final game could help each of them to go into the offseason with some pride.
On the field, TCU recently parted ways with head coach Gary Patterson, claiming a big win over Baylor just a week after.
Star running back Zach Evans suffered a season ending injury earlier in the year, but the TCU run game is still more than solid. The Horned Frogs have given consistent carries to three different backs this season, posing a threat due to the balance that they have at the position.
TCU will get the best of Iowa State on the road on Friday, in what is sure to be a battle. If the Cyclones fall behind early, which they have done frequently as of late, they will be in trouble on Friday.
Prediction: TCU 27, Iowa State 24
