Iowa State continues to win in fall season

The Cyclones hosted Kirkwood Friday evening with hopes of coming out with intensity and securing another win in the fall season.

 

Iowa State jumped on the Eagles early, putting up five runs in the bottom of the 1st.

 

Kirkwood would answer back with a score of their own in the top of the 3rd inning, bringing the score to 5-1.

 

Iowa State shifted the momentum back in their favor by putting up two more runs in the 4th inning.

 

The Cyclones started to run away with the game in the 5th inning by scoring three runs to bring the score to 10-1.

 

Iowa State opened up the 7th inning with aggression by putting hits on the board early. They would end up putting two more runs on the board to go up 12-1 after seven innings.

 

The Cyclones will go on to score another run in the 8th inning to further their lead to 13-1.

 

Iowa State would end the day with a two-run home run from Sophomore Milaysia Ochoa to give them a 15-1 victory over Kirkwood.

 

Iowa State will have a day off before playing DMACC on Sunday, September 26th, at home.
