National Nurses United, the nation’s largest nurses union, has sent a formal request to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) asking it to recommend another round of mask mandates. For the past two months, the CDC has stated that no masks are needed for any vaccinated citizens, both indoors and outdoors. With Iowa State’s fall semester only a month away, this could raise some questions in regards to any upcoming COVID policies the school may have.
