Monte Morris’ season keeps getting better.

One game after setting a new career-high in points and assists, Morris nearly doubled one of those career-highs and tied the other.

In a 121-114 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers, Morris led Denver with seven assists, tying his career-high. He also went for 20 points off the bench on 6-of-9 shooting.

Morris hit both of his 3-point attempts and nailed all six of his free throws.

On the defensive end, Morris poked the ball loose for three steals.
