Kansas State: Adrian Martinez (QB)

Martinez is possibly the biggest wildcard of a player in the Big 12 this year. Martinez does most of the damage with his legs, his teammates know this, his coaches know this and the opponents know this.

With that being said, Martinez struggled mightily early in the season but has turned it on as of late.

Over the last two games, Martinez has run for 148 yards and 171 yards, compiling a whopping seven rushing touchdowns over the two games.

Martinez has just three passing touchdowns all year, so if the Cyclones can shut down the run, they will be in good shape.

Iowa State: Anthony Johnson (Safety)

In order to stop the run game of Martinez, it is going to take pressure in the pocket. Martinez is not extremely fast, he is more of a power run that excels at finding holes.

Safety Anthony Johnson has been tasked with playing inside the tackle box a lot this season, and I think he is going to have to do so once again. With the emphasis that the Wildcats place on establishing the run, it will be even more important for Johnson to make his mark on the game.
