Lindell Wigginton decided not to enter the NBA Draft this summer, and now he will enter his sophomore season as a member of the Preseason All-Big 12 team.

The conference announced its preseason awards on Wednesday. Wigginton is the league’s leading returning scorer, having averaged 16.7 points per game in his freshman season. The team was voted on by Big 12 coaches. He shot 40.1 percent from 3-point range and was an All-Big 12 honorable mention selection after last season.

The other members of the team include Kansas guard Dedric Lawson, Kansas State players Barry Brown and Dean Wade and West Virginia center Sagaba Konate.

Fellow Cyclone and redshirt sophomore center Cameron Lard was named an honorable mention for the upcoming season after averaging 12.8 points and 8.1 rebounds per game last season.
