Iowa State added a commitment from Davenport Assumption’s Julien Broderson on Sunday. Broderson announced the decision on Twitter.

Broderson wrestled at 182 pounds last season and is coming off back-to-back state titles in his sophomore and junior seasons. Broderson projects to wrestle at 184 or 197 pounds at Iowa State.

Currently, the Cyclones have 11 athletes at 184 and 197 pounds with seven of those athletes possessing two or more years of eligibility left, including the freshmen group of Tyler Buesgens, Joel Shapiro, Brandon Tessau and Hunter DeJong.
