Three Republican candidates are visiting Iowa this week as they continue the campaign trail.
This week, Nikki Haley, Vivek Ramaswamy and Ryan Binkley will host and attend events throughout the state to interact with Iowans and share their platforms.
The 2024 presidential election will take place Nov. 5, 2024, and already 13 Republican candidates are running against Democratic incumbent President Joe Biden, as well as two Democratic candidates: Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Marianne Williamson.
Nikki Haley
Former South Carolina Gov. Haley is running for the Republican seat in the 2024 presidential election. Her platform includes opposing abortion, opposing open borders, “fixing” the immigration system and reducing taxes, according to NBC.
Haley will host a series of Town Hall events in Iowa over the weekend:
- Friday, Town Hall Event at Crystal Creek Enterprises, Grand Mound. Doors will open to the public at 3:30 p.m. and the event begins at 4 p.m.
- Saturday, Town Hall Event at Jethro’s Bacon and BBQ, West Des Moines. Doors will open to the public at 8 a.m. and the event begins at 9 a.m.

Vivek Ramaswamy
Ramaswamy is a pharmaceutical entrepreneur who has built a platform focusing on reviving American identity, reducing interaction with Chinese organizations and dismantling “bureaucracies” such as the Department of Education, according to his campaign website.
Ramaswamy will be in Iowa Wednesday-Saturday to host a series of events in Bettendorf, Dubuque, Decorah, Fayette, Waterloo and Des Moines.
- Wednesday, Evening Rally at Tanglewood Hills Pavilion, Bettendorf. Hosted by Scott County, event will begin at 7:00 p.m.
- Thursday, Dubuque County Breakfast Rally at 7 Hills Brewery, Dubuque. The event will begin at 9:15 a.m.
- Thursday, Winneshiek County Lunch Rally at Club 45, Decorah. The event will begin at 12:15 p.m.
- Thursday, A Conversation with Vivek at Upper Iowa University, Fayette. The event will begin at 3 p.m.
- Thursday, Blackhawk County Dinner Rally at Elks Club, Waterloo. The event will begin at 6 p.m.
- Saturday, Presidential Town Hall at Iowa Events Center, Des Moines. The event will begin at 7:45 p.m.

Ryan Binkley
Binkley is the CEO and president of Generational Group, a business consulting firm, and has built his platform focusing on border security, boosting economic growth, restoring US unity, ending healthcare monopolies and achieving energy independence from other countries, according to his campaign website.
Binkley will be in Iowa Thursday and Friday to host a variety of events in Elkader, Spencer and Emmetsburg.
- Thursday, Clayton County Lincoln Club Dinner at Johnson Reception Hall, Elkader. The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. and is expected to end at 7:30 p.m.
- Friday, Clay County Fairgrounds, Spencer: Binkley will be at the fair from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
- Friday, Iowa Lakes Community College, Emmetsburg. The event will begin at noon and is expected to end at 1 p.m.
