No matter the season, Central Ames is full of activities and events! Whether it’s observing the butterflies at Reiman Gardens or racing down the waterslides at Furman Aquatic Center, Ames has something for you.

Take a tour at Reiman Gardens and see the flowers, sculptures, and butterflies! Reiman Gardens is located off of S University Blvd. next to Jack Trice. It’s the perfect place to unwind or have a little adventure at, located right in Ames.

Your Broadway favorites could be performing closer than you think, at Stephens Auditorium on Center Dr. check out the plays, musicals and more for a fun experience of art and music.

Arcade games, bowling, and laser tag make for a perfect night at Perfect Games. Channel your inner child and visit Perfect Games on Dickinson Ave for a night out of fun.

Iowa State holds a biannual Art Mart where people are able to buy, sell and admire the work of local artists. The event usually takes place in the Memorial Union and is scheduled for the weekend after Thanksgiving and the weekend of graduation in May.
