The Big 12 announced Tuesday night that Friday’s volleyball match between Iowa State and UCF is canceled due to Hurricane Milton. The match will not be rescheduled and will be recorded as a no-contest in the standings. Iowa State is still set to play Wednesday against Houston.
The news came after the Cyclones dropped Saturday’s match against Kansas State in five sets. Iowa State currently sits 8-6 on the season and 2-1 in the Big 12.
With the canceled game, the Cyclones will have a full week off after the Houston match before hosting BYU on Oct. 16.
Wednesday’s match against Houston is still scheduled for 7 p.m. and will be streamed live on ESPN+.
