Michaela Thompson performs at the Ames Public Library on Sept. 30 as a part of the Maximum Ames Music Festival. She performed an original song, Lucky, which is about relishing in your youth. Maximum Ames Festival featured four female artists as part of their Ames Women of Rock tradition. The four artists were: Lizzy Poppyseed, Levitation, Michaela Thompson, and Amelia Bal.
