For students voting in Iowa outside of Story County, find your county auditor and visit their website to see if they provide an early voting schedule. Voters may have options to vote early in their counties Saturday and Monday. Otherwise, they must vote on election day.
Voter registration in Iowa closed on Oct. 21, but voters can register on election day.
Absentee ballots, if not sent in by mail, must be returned in person before 8 p.m. Tuesday. A voter’s absentee ballot is allowed to be transported by close family members or someone within the same household.
