David Montgomery
The Detroit Lions just keep on winning. This week, Detroit took down the Indianapolis Colts 24-6 for its ninth win in a row.
Montgomery scored his 11th rushing touchdown of the season and 50th of his career and added 37 yards on eight carries. Though it wasn’t his most productive game, he still found the endzone, something he has had a knack for.
Running back Jahmyr Gibbs had the brunt of the work for the Lions in the backfield with 90 yards on 21 attempts with two touchdowns.
In the passing game, Montgomery caught all three of his targets for 36 yards. The win puts the Lions at 10-1 and still in the driver’s seat of the NFC.
Eyioma Uwazurike
Uwazurike hasn’t seen the field too often, but he did for the Denver Broncos this Sunday and took advantage of it.
In Denver’s 29-19 win over the Las Vegas Raiders, Uwazurike recorded one tackle and half a sack. This was the first game this season where he recorded a sack.
On the season, Uwazurike now has eight total tackles. The Broncos, now 7-5, next matchup will be against the Cleveland Browns on Monday night.
Charlie Kolar
Kolar caught his lone target for six yards in the Baltimore Ravens’ 30-23 win over the Los Angeles Chargers in the final game of the weekend.
The catch now puts Kolar at nine catches for 131 yards this season. Fellow Ravens tight end Mark Andrews had a touchdown against the Chargers.
Baltimore is now 8-4 and will host the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 13.
Brock Purdy
Purdy did not play in the San Francisco 49ers’ 38-10 loss to the Green Bay Packers. The decision came after Purdy had soreness in his throwing shoulder.
Backup Brandon Allen threw for 199 yards after going 17-for-29 with a touchdown and an interception. The loss drops San Francisco to 5-6 and a game out of first place in the NFC West.
Purdy will have the chance to return in Week 13 against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday night.
Cyclones on the New York Jets
The Jets (3-8) had a bye in Week 12 and will return to action against the Seattle Seahawks (6-5), who are a game ahead of San Francisco in the race to the playoffs.
