David Montgomery
Week 15 likely marked an unfortunate end to Montgomery’s regular season.
On Sunday, Montgomery ran for four yards on five carries and caught four passes for 31 yards in the Detroit Lions’ 48-42 loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. With this loss, Detroit falls to 12-2 on the season.
However, the biggest news coming out of the game was the MCL injury that Montgomery suffered, which is likely to keep him out for at least the remainder of the regular season, and potentially the playoffs.
If this is the last time Montgomery touches the field this season, he will have finished with 775 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns on the ground with 341 receiving yards.
Breece Hall
Hall was back in the New York Jets’ lineup in Week 15 after missing one game due to a knee injury.
The third-year running back ran the ball nine times for 30 yards and a touchdown, while also catching two passes for 21 yards.
Hall’s one-yard touchdown with just over a minute left in the game gave New York a 32-25 lead over the Jacksonville Jaguars, leading to the Jets securing their fourth win of the season.
Through 13 games, Hall has 1,144 total yards and 12 total touchdowns. Hall’s 422 receiving yards ranks third in the league among running backs.
Will McDonald IV
McDonald recorded two tackles in the Jets’ 32-25 win over the Jaguars.
Despite recording just two sacks in the last seven games, McDonald still ranks eighth in the NFL with 10 sacks.
Brock Purdy
Week 15 did not fare well for Purdy and the San Francisco 49ers.
Purdy struggled in the wet conditions on Thursday night, going 14-31 for 141 yards and an interception.
Purdy’s passer rating of 45.4 was his second worst of the year, just one week after posting his best passer rating of the season in the 49ers’ 38-13 win over the Chicago Bears.
The 49ers lost to the Los Angeles Rams 12-6, which drops their record to 6-8 on the season, all but ending their chances at making the playoffs.
Purdy has thrown for 3,174 yards, 15 touchdowns and nine interceptions while completing 65% of his passes this season.
Jake Hummel
Hummel recorded one tackle in the Rams’ 12-6 win over the 49ers.
Anthony Johnson Jr.
Johnson recorded his first tackle of the season in the New York Giants’ 35-14 loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
Xavier Hutchinson
Hutchinson caught one pass for 13 yards in the Houston Texans’ 20-12 win over the Miami Dolphins.
Allen Lazard
Lazard had four targets but no receptions in the Jets’ 32-25 win over the Jaguars.
