Cardi B to potentially perform at Iowa State, pending on Tinder competition
April 3, 2018
American rapper Cardi B could (supposedly) be making money move on campus by the end of the semester.
Tinder, the popular online dating app, is currently holding it’s first ever nationwide college competition. A bracket-style tournament will determine the most “right-swiped” school in the country.
The winner of the competition “will be blessed with Cardi B’s ferocious flow (and probably another iconic dress)” in the form of a free concert from the rapper herself “to close out the school year,” according to a press release.
Iowa State is currently one of 32 other schools in the contest. Each round of the bracket will last 2-4 days before eliminating half of the teams remaining at that point.
The winner will be announced on April 18.
Cardi B is best known for her debut single “Bodak Yellow (Money Moves),” which topped the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 for three consecutive weeks in October of 2017.
A potential date has not been clarified at this point.
