Ringo Starr and his All-Starr Band are returning to Iowa this fall, marking their first stop in Ames.

The famed Beatles drummer and his band are scheduled to perform at Stephens Auditorium on Sept. 5, according to his website.

Ticket prices and information will be unveiled in the coming days.

Starr previously stopped through Iowa in 1992 where they performed at the Iowa State Fair.

Starr’s former bandmate and fellow Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member Paul McCartney performed in Des Moines at Wells Fargo Arena last July.
