Happy National Sleep in Public Day!

In honor of the day, here are some of the best places to take a nap on campus. Grab your earbuds, lay your head down and you’re good to go.

Multicultural Student Affairs Room

Located in the Student Services building, this room is home to some of the more comfortable couches on campus.

Biorenewables Complex building

When you enter the building, you will see a few couches like this. This area is a good place to take a quick nap without drifting off to a deep sleep, thanks to any natural light or sunlight coming through the large windows.

Gilman Hall

For some shut-eye in a pinch, there are benches like this all over the inside of Gilman. Just finish a test at Gilman and want to take a nap to celebrate? They are just big enough to curl up and sleep on.

Memorial Union Multicultural Center

The dimmed lights and quiet atmosphere make the Multicultural Center a good place for a long, quality nap.

Howe Hall

Another great place to take a quick nap without dozing off to a complete sleep. When you enter the building, you will see couches similar to this—they’re a good spot for curling up for a few minutes of shut-eye.
