Cyclones lose to UCO (Don’t publish)

The first period moved by quickly with very little interruption of play.  Save for a penalty by Central Oklahoma’s Jake Daughtry, there were .  Both teams had several good looks throughout the period and each rang shots off the post, but neither team could convert their chances to into scores.

The second period featured more stellar goalie play from both sides, as both Derek Moser for the Cyclones and Alex Henry for the Bronchos made highlight-reel saves to keep the game even at zero. 

Henry made a great sprawling save at the 8:15 mark in the period to keep the Cyclones off the board, and Moser was able to made several stops to stave off a UCO offensive attack that outshot the Cyclones 17-8 in the period.

The Bronchos eventually were able to break, however, when Jake Daughtry beat Moser with a top-shelf shot to give the Bronchos a 1-0 advanatge late in the second.  The Cyclones nearly got one back on a rush with a tipped-puck, but Henry closed the door to keep UCO up one goal heading into the intermission.
