November 20, 2017
Iowa State senior Allen Lazard has shown his dominance as a wide receiver in college football this season. Those statistics and play have earned an invitation to the Reese’s Senior Bowl on January 28, 2018, in Mobile, Alabama.
Lazard has been a big part of Iowa State’s offense for the past four seasons and this season it’s led to school records being broken. He’s the leader at Iowa State for receiving yards with 3,123 and career receptions with 225.

He continues to try for the Iowa State record for all-time career touchdown receptions. Lazard currently has 25 touchdown receptions and will need six more to tie and seven to beat Todd Blythe’s record.
The Senior Bowl game will play at 1:30 p.m. on the NFL Network. The last time Iowa State had a player at the Senior Bowl was tight end E.J. Bibbs in 2014, but he didn’t play.
