Individual reports being sexually assaulted at campus apartment

An individual reported being sexually assaulted at a campus apartment building, the ISU Police Department said in a campus-wide timely warning email Tuesday.
The individual reported being sexually assaulted by an acquaintance on Oct. 4 in an apartment at University Village, located north of campus. ISU Police is currently conducting an investigation.
In addition to information about the incident, ISU Police also provided a list of resources for those affected, like the Assault Care Center Extending Shelter, or ACCESS, sexual misconduct information from the Dean of Students Office and the unviersity’s Title IX coordinator, located in 3410 Beardshear Hall.
Iowa State is required to send a timely warning with information about crimes committed on or near campus in accordance with the Clery Act.
