Club baseball games canceled this weekend
October 7, 2017
The two Iowa State club baseball games scheduled for today have been canceled due to the heavy rain that started last night and carried into the early morning.
Ames accumulated around two inches of rain over the last 24 hours, and the field conditions were deemed unplayable.
The Iowa State baseball club was scheduled to play two games against the Nebraska 18U at Cap Timm Field today. The games will not be rescheduled. This was the last fall baseball game of the year, and baseball games won’t start up again at Capp Timm Field until the spring season.
