Iowa State football adds a new wide receiver in 2018 recruiting class

The Iowa State football received a verbal commitment from Oklahoma native and wide receiver Sean Shaw for its 2018 recruiting class.

Shaw took a visit to Ames a couple weeks ago and the three-star prospect made it official on Monday with a tweet from his account and another tweet coming from coach Matt Campbell.
The 6-foot-5 wideout is ranked eighth in the state of Oklahoma and received interest from other Big 12 schools like Texas, Kansas, Oklahoma and TCU as well as other schools like SMU, Tulsa and Wyoming.

His high school career at Jones High School has consisted of 161 receptions, 2,456 receiving yards and 28 receiving touchdowns. He’s only played four games this season, his senior year, and already has 298 receiving yards along with six touchdowns.
