The purpose of this event is to help people in making their space more fun, without having to purchase art that costs a fortune, or having to lug it around when moving to a new house.
Letitia Kenemer, Fine Arts Coordinator at the MU said, “Hopefully it adds to people’s space. Having artwork you enjoy in your space is important for people. Whether its an office space or a dorm room, it’s important and it’s affordable.”
The art, whether it’s rented for a semester or a year, can be returned to the MU when the rent is up.
