Following two consecutive years of playing SEC teams on the road, Iowa State will get to host a Big 12/SEC game in January 2018.

After road games at Texas A&M and Vanderbilt over the past two years, both resulting in losses, the Cyclones will have a chance at earning a solid non-conference victory when Tennessee travels to Hilton Coliseum.

All Big 12/SEC challenge games will be played Saturday, January 27, and will be aired on ESPN networks.

A tipoff time has not been announced.

Tennessee finished 16-16 (8-10 SEC) and missed the NCAA Tournament last season. The Volunteers won their Big 12/SEC Challenge game, however, with a 70-58 victory over Kansas State last January.
