Week two reflections: Josh Popoola

Meditating was difficult for me. I didn’t do it some days on purpose, I will admit. It is hard to keep up with. I want to keep trying though. It was nice to not have to think about anything for a change.

Normally I have a lot on my mind about life and school, but taking some time every day really helped. I used the app, Headspace, and the announcer was very chill. It was weird for me personally because normally when I have my headphones in listening to my phone, I’m listening to podcasts, which make me think a lot. But meditating was the exact opposite.

I feel tired after this week, but I was pretty happy most of it. I had allergy issues, so that was frustrating, but other than that I feel pretty good. I am excited for next week’s activity but I want to keep practicing meditation.
