Week one reflections: Maggie Curry

I really like the idea of a gratitude journal or gratitude log because when you’re having a hard day or week or are sick it can help you look for the good things in the midst of the bad. I tended to be grateful for the same things each day — the people around me, when class was canceled and time spent doing homemaker things.

I have one afternoon a week I consider my afternoon off and on that afternoon I do laundry, bake, crochet and clean. That afternoon I always feel very productive, relaxed and happy.

I got very sick toward the end of the week, and feeling sick definitely impacted my happiness. I felt miserable in my body so I didn’t feel good in my head.
