Week four reflections: Davis Hall
April 24, 2017
Monday: So on the first day it seemed weird for me to do these acts of kindness at work. I’m usually huddled up in my cubicle and don’t really talk that much so it got me out of my comfort zone a bit and I felt great doing something nice for everyone.
Tuesday: I usually take pride in the work that I do but I’m at the point in the semester where I just don’t care. There is only so much motivation that one student can have and I think I’m damn near empty. So on the quiz I just let her have the answers that she wanted. The lack of motivation carried on when classes got over so I cleaned the place up a bit.
Wednesday: This is starting to make me feel a bit weird and uncomfortable doing acts of kindness like this and people are starting to think I’m repenting for something sinful I did this past weekend. However, they are genuinely grateful when I go out of my way for them.
