Week one reflections: Chris Jorgensen

I would say that this activity didn’t necessarily make me any happier, but it was valuable. I don’t think often about the people and things in my life that make me happy. Doing this activity was a great way to make me think more about those things.

I never really thank people in my life for being there, but I did when I thought about it more doing this activity. Not all of my entries were as serious as being grateful for a friend or family member. Sometimes I said I was thankful for a food or drink. I think that’s important too, because it’s not just people that make me happy.

The things I enjoy are important to me, too. I wouldn’t continue this activity on my own because I’ve never been one who enjoys keeping a journal or logging things, but it was definitely a very valuable exercise.
