Office of Equal Opportunity names inclusion services coordinator

Nora Ryan has been named the inclusion services coordinator for the Iowa State Office of Equal Opportunity (EO), effective Monday.
An Iowa State alumna, Ryan boasts a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and a master’s in public administration — received in 2009 and 2011, respectively. Ryan went on to receive a doctorate in public administration and public policy from The George Washington University in 2017.
Ryan’s responsibilities will include assuring compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Sections 503 and 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and other federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to people with disabilities, according to a release from the EO.
Other responsibilities include coordinating religious accommodation requests and being the lead person in charge of operations and dissemination of the Campus Climate Response Team.
