Five money-saving beauty hacks

Here are five beauty tips that will help further stretch your dollar:
1. Use an eyeshadow on your hairline to make your hair appear fuller.
Putting a matte eyeshadow on your part and hairline can help fill in thin spots, making your hair look fuller in real life and in photos.
2. Add contact solution to dried-up mascara to revive it.
Although you should only keep mascara for three months because of bacteria, if your mascara dries up before then, add a few drops and you’re good to go.
3. Turn an eyeliner pencil into a gel by heating it with a match or lighter.
To make eyeliner glide on easier, heat up a pencil liner and make it a creamy gel.
4. Put loose pigment into a lip balm to create a custom color.
Use loose pigment or a crushed-up eyeshadow mixed with a clear lip balm to create a custom lip color.
5. If you have dry skin, put Vaseline on your pulse spots before perfume to make the scent last longer.
If you know you’re going to be out all day and have drier, wintery skin, put Vaseline on your pulse spots (wrist and neck) to make the scent stick and last throughout the day.
