For many, Super Bowl commercials are the most anticipated part of Super Bowl Sunday.
Here are a few facts about what it takes to put these ever-anticipated commercials together:

According to the CNN website, a 30-second Super Bowl commercial in 1967 cost about $40,000, but today they can cost up to $5 million.

According to the Advertising Age website, Super Bowl 50 (2016) spent around $377 million on ads which is more than was spent on Super Bowl ads in the ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s combined.

Buffalo Wild Wings– Brett Favre is featured in their first Super Bowl campaign.

Snickers– They will release their first Super Bowl commercial ad since 1981 which will feature Adam Driver.

Budweiser– The commercial highlights Adolphus Busch, cofounder of Budweiser, and his emigration from Germany.

Intel– Tom Brady, quarterback for the New England Patriots, will be featured in this commercial that will be played during the Patriot’s ninth time in the Super Bowl.

Skittles– The star of the commercial uses Skittles instead of rocks to get his love interest’s attention imploring viewers to “Romance the Rainbow” just in time for Valentine’s Day.
The New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons will face off in Super Bowl 51 on Sunday, Feb. 5 at 5:30 p.m. on FOX.
