The first seminar in a three-part series related to Top Hat will address a teaching and learning issue associated with the teaching platform. 

The event will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday in 2030 Morrill Hall and will be free to attend. 

According to the Iowa State events website, the first seminar will be related to improving student engagement and getting the most out of face-to-face classroom time. 

The second seminar, Evaluation of learning and attendance with Top Hat, will take place March 23 at the same time and location. 

The third, Academic integrity and Top Hat, will take place April 26.
