As a part of Eating Disorder and Body Image Awareness Week, Buck Runyan will speak at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Sun Room of the Memorial Union.

Runyan’s lecture will define eating disorders and discuss helpful and healing ways to talk about them.

Runyan is Remuda Ranch at the Meadows’ executive director for eating disorders critical care units and in-patient, residential programs, according to the Iowa State events page

Runyan had his own private practice helping patients with eating disorders and other afflictions in Southern California.

In total, Runyan has helped treat eating disorders for more than 20 years.
