The Cyclones responded well.
Three minutes and 51 seconds into the third period, Adam Alcott fed a pass to A.J. Gullickson, who was able to tie the game at two goals a piece.
One minute and five seconds later, Cyclone Hockey took the lead. Aaron Azevedo put a shot past UCO goalie Alex Henry to put the Cyclones up 3-2.
The team got two more goals from Clayton Janecke and Jon Severson to take home the victory in game one.
