This weekend, students won’t have to travel far to get a sense of the culture and people located across the ocean.

The African Students Association will host its annual African Night on Saturday in the Scheman Building as an opportunity for ISU students to enjoy a traditional African dinner and live performances.

The event will begin with a dinner from 5:30 to 7 p.m. After the dinner, the main event will take place from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. with live performances that include dances, play productions and a fashion show.

The dinner is complimentary, but only to the first 250 guests who arrive by 5:30 p.m.

Tickets are $10 when purchased ahead of time. Tickets at the door cost $15.

To purchase tickets before the event, contact Grace Ansah at [email protected]; El-Sadig Ali at [email protected]; or Kelly Ikemenogo at [email protected].
