Cyclone Hockey represented well in CSCHL awards
February 22, 2016
Cyclone Hockey is well represented in the Central States Collegiate Hockey League post season awards.
Coach Jason Fairman was named CSCHL Coach of the Year after leading the Cyclones to a 24-8-1-5 record in his second full season at the helm.
Part of Fairman’s success this season is credited to the strong recruiting class which was ranked as the top in the American Collegiate Hockey Association. The class was led by freshman Tony Uglem who was named the CSCHL Rookie of the Year.
Uglem was also named to the All-League first team along with his brother, sophomore Jake Uglem.
Tony Uglem headlined the All-Rookie first team and was joined by Cyclone Hockey leading scorer Colton Kramer who was second in the CSCHL in scoring with 45 points.
Jake Uglem was joined by sophomore defenseman Kody Reuter on the CSCHL All-Defensive team.
