University announces increase in spring enrollment

Iowa State University announced Thursday morning the enrollment for spring semester, which has decreased since the fall, but is higher than last spring.

Enrollment for the spring semester reached 33,659 students, down 2,342 difference from the fall enrollment, which stood at 36,001 students.

The enrollment sets a new record for spring enrollment, up 865 from last year.

Undergraduate enrollment has increased 847 students; graduate enrollment has risen by 58 students. At the same time, professional enrollment is down 10 students and the number of post docs has fallen by 30.
