Get baked goods in honor of eating disorder awareness week
February 23, 2016
Body Image and Eating Disorder Awareness Week continues Tuesday with a scrumptious event.
The Honor Your Hunger Bake Sale will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the LeBaron Hall lobby.
The bake sale is just the second event in the weeklong awareness initiative. Monday night featured a showing of “The Illusionists,” followed by a discussion panel. Wednesday will feature headline speakers Tom and Doris Smeltzer, who wrote “Andrea’s Voice – Silenced by Bulimia,” which will begin at 7 p.m. in the Memorial Union.
The Rock Your Body Party will take place from 2 to 5 p.m. Thursday in the Campanile Room of the Memorial Union, where students can take time out of their day to honor their body.
