The Ready Set to perform at the Maintenance Shop

The Ready Set will be perform an all-ages show with Halfloves at 9 p.m. Saturday at the Maintenance Shop.
Tickets are available for $10 for students and $15 dollars for the general public through Midwestix or at the box office at the Maintenance Shop.
Jordan Witzigreuter formed The Ready Set in 2007 after recording solo music in his parent’s basement when he was still a teenager. He started recording emo-pop and electronica music and still continues to blend the genres together in his songs.
Having currently released five albums and EPs, The Ready Set is set to release its newest album “I Will Be Nothing Without Your Love” on April 8. The new album is already available for pre-order on iTunes.
The Ready Set worked with producers such as Matt Squire and currently is signed to Hopeless Records. He is currently on tour with Set It Off and Tonight Alive but will stop in Ames for a headlining performance.
Opening for The Ready Set are Iowa natives Halfloves. Halfloves is an indie-rock band that formed in Iowa City. The group was previously known as The Olympians and released music under both band names. More information about the band can be found on its Facebook or Bandcamp pages.
