Ben Carson to hold town hall in Ames Sunday

Presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson speaks during an event at Alpha Gamma Rho Saturday morning. Carson, who recently took lead in the polls, spoke about his stance on key issues regarding his presidential campaign, as well as his reasons for running for president.

Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson will return to Ames for a town hall meeting on Sunday.

WHERE: City Church of Ames (previously called “Oakwood Road Church”), 2400 Oakwood Rd., Ames

Carson was last in Ames in late October, speaking at Alpha Gamma Rho.

Carson held a brief lead in Iowa polls late last year, but has since dropped to fourth place in an average of polls from Real Clear Politics.
