It’s weird knowing that 2015 is over and we have officially begun a new year. It is also exciting to think of the new year that has come and all of the people taking this chance to start fresh. Lets take a look back at 2015’s most influential pop culture moments, in no specific order here is a list of the best in 2015.

Two words, Amy Schumer. Much like Jennifer Lawrence, Amy Schumer seemed to come out of nowhere and everybody instantly loved her. She had her Inside Amy Schumer series on Comedy Central and came out with her movie, Trainwreck, making many fans along the way.

“The Dress” takes over the internet. In the beginning of the year a picture of a dress from Tumblr came instantly popular as people tried to decide if it was black and blue or white and gold. It was shared all across the media and got to the point where scientific explanations had to come forward to solve the mystery.

Adele finally returns with a new album. After what felt like forever Adele came out with her third studio album, 25, which was of course a hit. Adele broke records with her new album and will be going on tour, her first since 2011.

After a long time awaiting, Star Wars comes back just before the new year. The excitement for this movie could easily make this the highest-grossing film of all time.

It was hard to just choose one television show, but Mad Men is a favorite among many people. The show is available to stream on Netflix for anyone who is interested.
