The city of Ames and Iowa State has released a list of closings related to winter break, which includes an altered CyRide schedule that may impact students staying in Ames.

• CyRide: Buses will run fewer trips during semester break, Saturday, Dec. 19, until Sunday, Jan. 10, 2016. Moonlight Express will not operate over the entire break and there will be no bus services on Friday, Dec. 25, or Friday, Jan. 1, 2016. • Iowa State University offices: Thursday, Dec. 24, Friday, Dec. 25 and Friday, Jan. 1, 2016 are university holidays. All offices will be closed.
• Iowa State University Recreation Services facilities: All ISU facilities will be closed on Thursday, Dec. 24, Friday, Dec. 25 and Friday, Jan. 1, 2016. State Gym is closed until Monday, Dec. 28 following a fire earlier this month, and the Beyer Hall pool is closed until Monday, Dec. 28 for emergency repair. While State Gym and Beyer pool are closed, Lied Recreational Center and Beyer Hall will be open between Saturday, Dec. 19 and Wednesday, Dec. 24, and on Saturday, Dec. 26 and Sunday, Dec. 27. • Parks Library: Closed from Thursday, Dec. 24, 2015 through Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016.
• ISU Dining services: All dining centers, restaurants and cafes run by ISU Dining will be closed from Saturday, Dec. 19 until Monday, Jan. 4, 2016. Some cafes, such as Caribou Coffee and the MU Market & Cafe, will reopen on Monday, Jan. 4, 2016. UDCC and Seasons Marketplace reopen on Friday, Jan. 8, 2016. • Ames City Hall: City Hall and most city offices will be closed on Thursday, Dec. 24, Friday, Dec. 25, and Friday, Jan. 1, 2016.
• Ames Community Center and Weight Room: Closed Friday, Dec. 25 and Friday, Jan. 1, 2016. The facility will be open from 5 a.m. to noon on Thursday, Dec. 24 and from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 31.
• Ames Municipal Pool: Closed on Thursday, Dec. 24, Friday, Dec. 25, and Friday, Jan. 1, 2016.
• Ames/ISU Ice Arena: Open for public skating from noon to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 24. Closed Friday, Dec. 25 and Friday, Jan. 1, 2016.
• Ames Public Library: Closed on Thursday, Dec. 24, Friday, Dec. 25, and Friday, Jan. 1, 2016. Open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 31. The Bookmobile will be out of service from Monday, Dec. 21, through Friday, Jan. 1, 2016.
